We have purple thistles on our farm. Beautiful but they are huge and awful to deal with. This is a Scottish flower by tradition I think. Such pretty nails... I wonder if there is a special occasion for them?? 😉

Oh.. I've never had a problem with my liner brush.. It's synthetic, so it holds its shape pretty well? Does your liner brush have natural hair?

For this one I don't do any specific ones, I just continue on painting, if some colours bleed into each other that's fine, but if I want the edges to say clear and sharp then I'd make sure that the base paint is dry :)

You have a wonderful talent of seeing the beauty of simplicity. There are quite a few varieties of Thistle and they are generally known as an invasive weed. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. @@Nianiani They are beautiful to me. Ive seen them range from blue, to pink, and lavender. Wild flowers or weeds make some of the most beautiful blooms.

I have a request are you able to show how you would paint a lilac I have tried a few times and it turns out to be looking like a purple blob..... Either I paint individual flowers or take a bunch of cotton buds and stamp them out (not my favorite techique) Just curious if not that is fine Really enjoy your style and your ideas. I will use the information you have showed here to try and paint a lilac flower(s)

Oh I've never painted them again, but I guess the technique will just depend on the composition and whether I'd paint them close up or in a scene or attached to a tree, because that will influence the amount of detail.. I don't know if I'll be able to make a tutorial on it, but I'll keep it in mind (no promises though xD)
