As the type of 'lucky' wargamer with too less time , too many projects and the unfortunate situation of having unexpectedly 110 JIA guys to paint after warlords bad santa gift challenge with a buddy of mine AND a speed paint megaset gift from my gf for xmas .. this is exactly what i was looking for. Thanks for the explanation to colours and especially alternative. I'm used to a black primer and a very strong zenital highlight with white ink. Ever tried that for speed paints ?

Question. How much do you fill up your wet pallet? I have one, but I always either fill it up too much or not enough.

I typically over fill, then dump out any excess water once the pad has absorbed most of it.

I see you're using a wet pallet, do you have any issues of that thinning the speed paints more than you'd like? I have never tried a wet pallet with contrast/speed paint type paints.
