Funnily enough the legion new vegas actually pronounces Caesar correctly. The pronounciation we all know is not the one that was used during that time period. Classical Latin sounds very different to ecclesiastical latin and in my opinion it also sounded far more impressive.

@@Pikilloification jesus, nothing brings me more pain than hearing american biologists mispronounce latin names. There is a full guide on how to pronounce each vowel and they still bastardize it

@@Pikilloification we do have facts about how it was actually pronounced. Roman grammar books, common misspellings by Romans, and other similar things have informed us as to how the Romans spoke.

The weird thing is some legionaries didn't follow the pronunciation, for example Joshua Graham, one of the legion's founding members, used the modern pronunciation.

Thought that was such a good little detail in the fallout universe. A power hungry, slightly more educated man who found a book on the Roman Empire and decided to adopt its practises and even the identity of Caesar whilst obviously the pronunciation being lost.
