This model is ready for Golden Demon. Honestly I think its the closest to a grimdark mini I have ever seen.

Iv'e finally pinpointed why I enjoy your style so much. It reminds me of Adrian Smiths and Karl Kopinskis artwors from old codexes and rulebooks. What they did on canvases and paper you do on minis. That classic oil painting feel is amazing!

Slightly annoyed you only have 10k subs. Hands down one of the best painters in the world thanks for giving up the time to do a KZbin Channel!

You have mentioned your armies before, would you like to show it to us? I would love to see your collection specially when you are the one painting the minis

I noticed in the beginning of this video there are 3 paints on the pallet being used. What colors are being used? Balor Brown and Morghast are named, what is the other color used on the pallet. IT isn't named. I am guessing it is Rhinox Hide?

Would a new Drybrush be less affective? Being that an older one could put more dots on the model?

Do you have a recommendation on a skin recipe to go with these scheme? Colors are hard. 😂

I've done two attempts to replicate the armour stippling, about to start the third. I just want to ask to make sure, are the first two colors you're applying Balor Brown and Morghast Bone like you say in the video? The colors look different and much darker in the video than in real life, and I'm not quite managing to get the same effect using them. Is there a chance the first color layer is Mournfang Brown and the second layer is Balor Brown?

I had the exact same problem, my guys were coming out way too bright looking and less green. More yellow

Really love this affect, I am intrigued as to what you do with all the areas still black, is this just done as a demonstration and only meant to be viewed from the front?
@Jackalos13 жыл бұрын
That stippling effect looks a lot simpler than the final result made me think it would be. I'm sure my first attempt would still be a soupy mess though.
@vulcan11543 жыл бұрын
That's been the most interesting part of these new videos - I'm surprised how many simple techniques he uses, and how effective they end up being with a few tweaks. It's super impressive and really encouraging to watch

What magician did you use to transform a brown color into a green color in the model? That got me curious. The armor looks green to me, but you never used green color on it. Loved the stippling btw.
@Nobleshield3 жыл бұрын
It's because he's using a yellowish-brown color. Yellow over black gives a green. And it's an amazing technique lol

Why does it look green when using brown ?
@demonrich9 ай бұрын
It's the yellow in the brown. It's a translucent layer so the black shows through a little which alters the look of the yellow in the paint to a dirty yellow/green colour.
