How to paint dot mandalas with Kristin Uhrig #26 Pumpkin Spice

This tutorial will show you how to paint a dot mandala on at 3.5 stone, using crochet hooks as dotting tools. I also used a small manicure stylus, and a polymer clay sculpting tool with a fine, ball point for the smallest dots. All paints are listed in the video. It is intermediate in difficulty.

I recently got a set of stylus and whatever you call them to make mandalas and it came out looking more like a Ferris wheel carnival - granted I did it on practice canvas board but I wasn’t quite sure how to lay it out but now I have a good idea - I can’t seem to find rocks though. Thank you for your excellent instruction! I have a question about the rocks. I got some black rocks today at the garden center and they seem to have an oily coating on them. Do I need to take that off before painting them? What would you suggest? Thank you in advance!
