I have been playing with Mark’s Mandala tools and find them sooooo much easier to use than the nail dotting ones. Having great success. Just ordered the the stone molds from Happy Dotting Co. looking forward to making some beautiful stones. Thanks for demoing both the tools and molds.

Drop dead beautiful! I wish I could afford the Golden paints. Thank you for the formula for the Ultracal 30. I have been using the metric formula. Fortunately my scale does both weights.

Have you ever used a gel medium to thicken the paint for when placing paint on the outer, curved edges of the stones? I am going to try this method to hopefully remove the issue of drooping or sliding dots. You work is beautiful. I love the bright, vibrant colours you used on your Hawaiian stones.

Hi. Can you tell me what paint I would use to cover glossy ceramic tiles to make coasters? Specifically the back base coat paint. It comes off when I erase my chalk lines after painting a mandala. Thank you. Love your work!

I have used FolkArt Multi-Surface acrylics on ceramic mugs, and then baked them for 30 minutes in the over to set the paint permanently.

I am surprised to see you using anything other than your stylist to walk dots. Does this tool have a flat head or is it rounded like the stylist? Your art is so beautiful. You definitely inspire me to do better.

Kristin is walking the dots with number sized tools that have a flat head. In the kit here are also 2 double end letter size tools (4 sizes A thru D) with a rounded tip. These letter size tools make walking dots and dragging dots easier than ever. I wanted to make a single set of tools where you didn't have to add the manicure tools. The letter size tools do just that plus you can see the paint better on the tip of the tool where sometimes the ball end of manicure tools can obstruct your view of where your paint is on the tool which can make dot placement difficult.
