This looks super easy and yet so effective! I can't wait to try this technique! Thanks for sharing but -- one question though. Why bother to put alcohol around the rim of the glass to make bubble outlines when you could just use the white gel pen?

I like how the alcohol washes out a little bit of the ink. You can paint it whatever way you would like. 🖌🎨🌈 Hope this helps.😉

First time I bought yupo paper, I bought the transparent (?) sheets. I think they were the Ranger brand. Is there any difference between them and the regular yupo sheets? By the way, I like that blending pen - going on my wish list. Looks good to use to make the bubbles look more realistic.

The transparent Yupo will give your art a foggy look, it is very different. And yes, the blending fun is super fun to use!
