You are very straightforward and spend time explaining things that I know but a new person to the hobby would not. I'm gonna keep you in mind for new people who really just need a step-by-step guide! I think you'd be very helpful

Thank youuuu!!! I’m a visual learner and the best way for you guys to replicate it, is to see exactly what I’m doing. I know many of you know what edge highlights and dry brushing is but many do not or do it in a way that doesn’t result in what they want. That’s why I take the extra time to explain and show! 😁

Pro Acryl bold titanium white. It goes on really nice and is my favorite white paint I have used so far!! It also seems to take longer to dry compared to citadel paints! 😁
@Bloodletter879 ай бұрын
Couldn't tell if you're using one, but I highly recommend working with a wet palette. Switching to that was a game changer for me. Not only does it improve speed (bc you don't have to mix the paint up to the right consistency on the brush every few strokes) and paint quality, it also protects the paint that is still in the pot (because all that added water from the brush and the time it is left open damage it). You can build one yourself with a sponge and baking paper, but the manufactured ones often can be closed tightly and preserve mixed up paints for weeks if not opened. I use the one from Army Painter, but there are others out there. You're still gonna need a dry palette for contrast paints, though.
@nukakitten9 ай бұрын
I’m very well aware of wet pallets and appreciate your explanation. It’s on the list to buy, I just need to save up money. I don’t actually make any money off the channel so everything is out of pocket 😅

The out of sync audio made this too awkward to watch 😞
@nukakitten9 ай бұрын
Sadness 😢 mine appears to be in sync. I’ve watched a lot vids to try to prevent this because I do have a previous video where it is slightly out of sync. I use OBS, if you do know the correct settings, it would be greatly appreciated if you could share with me! 😁
@steve_blake9 ай бұрын
@@nukakittenNot sure about OBS settings, but a good method for syncing is to record a hand clap, then work out how many milliseconds between your hands touching and the sound spike, and adjust the sync setting by that much. You can also adjust in video edit by shifting the audio until they align (eg. in DaVinci you unlink the audio track and nudge using arrows).
