This was my suggestion. So imagine my delight when you implemented it. I could hardly wait to get started. I see so many of the same flowers over and over. Now I get to try 12 new ones. I can hardly wait for May and lily of the valley.

Great suggestion Rebecca. (almost named my daughter that). This is my dad's birth month, and I just started a new planner/journal with spaces for some art. I put in his birthday already and tried to draw a rainbow trout because he liked fishing. But adding the flower of the month, and maybe the birthstone, and astrological symbols for each month might be fun too. I'm in May as well. I don't think my paper can handle watercolor, but I could do colored pencils.

I love your birth month flowers. I have made my own sketch book just for birth month flowers. I do one page for the flower in watercolor and the next page the same flower in pen.
