Tomislav Lukic 😂😂😂 seriously busted out laughing at this... didn’t believe it and googled, then saw a pic and died 🤣 What’s more funny is I work at a 3D studio full time... this comment got brought up and had all the artists laughing for a hot minute lol. Kudos sir, best laugh we’ve had in a while. Idk maybe we’re distantly related some how? 🤪

Hey everyone! Welcome back! If you like this kind of content slap that like button and let me know :D Though I can't do these too often at the moment, I love being able to give you guys a project file and walk through these kind of processes with you... or you with me. Oh, and WE JUST HIT 2K SUBS! I'm so grateful for you all and appreciate your support! I've finally gathered all of the questions from previous posts across all social platforms and am beginning to organize it all into a fun video! Keep an eye out for that. For now, keep rockin and stay creative! I've got a feeling it's about time to start introducing lil bits of 3D content here. WHOOT!

Thank you so much for sharing, I have only one therminology doubt, the micro d&b is also known as local d&b?
@DustinValkema4 жыл бұрын
Mario Quiroz I believe micro dodge & burn and local d&b is the same concept. Macro D&B is a little different. Micro is used more for blemish removal, texture clean up and imperfections on a very small scale, Macro D&B is more broad stroked used for enhancing contours, accentuating light direction and emphasizing a focal points in a composition. Hopefully that helps 🤘🤓

Hey man! I've been trying to find a retoucher/photoshopper that could help me, possibly even get me on the right track to replicate a certain photographer's way of dodging and burning to make his portraits look like works of art. I was wondering if I could send you over some of his work so you could take a look, and either A. Give me your opinion on where I should start, and possibly even B. Editone of your images or one of mine to show how he did it, or how you think he did it, it would mean the world to me for some professional help.

Another awesome video, I’m definitely going to set these up for my product work thank you. Can I ask, the original image you were working on looked amazing straight of the bat. Had you done any editing to it in lightroom prior to putting it in photoshop? I’d love to see how you shoot your initial portrait image and then do these initial edits. I love that painted / slightly cartoony look and would love to be able to achieve it for my own family shots if you could help? 🙏 hope you’re staying safe in these troubling times - Nick

if you dont mind please share this dodge and burn action plsss
@DustinValkema4 жыл бұрын
DMEDIA DESIGNZ I intentionally didn’t include it as there are certain things like building actions and understanding the implementation into a workflow that are vital as an artist. There are times that I’ll share actions but in this case I find it more important to have viewers learn the setup and how to implement them. The good part is if you take a few minutes yo follow the video, you’ll only need to set it up once 🤘🤓
