How to Paint Mandala Swooshes with a Brush | Real Time Painting Tutorial for Beginners by @evartesa

Hello everyone and welcome to my channel :) ‪@evartesa‬
In this video I'm painting mini wooden discs that I used later to make Mandala Fridge Magnets.
To paint my drops or swooshes, I always use a very tiny liner brush, and in this case I used a "10/0 Princeton Brush, one of my favorites for very small detailing work.
Tips:
Make sure you load the tip of your brush with enough paint so you can start doing that puffy top of that drop and then slowly drag the brush downwards to a pointy sharp end.

I've seen dotting pieces "outlined" on Pinterest, and I wondered how it could be so precise. This technique never occurred to me. Also, your swoops look perfect. I guess I need to put my detail brushes to work on my dotting projects. Thank you for sharing!

Yes you can put how many dots you want on top of each other. For me I usually only do those 2 layers, but I've seen other people using 4 or even more layers of dots and different colors each one. Same for the swooshes, you can add more layers on top depending on how tall/puffy you want it. Check the tip on the description of how i do it. Hope it hepls 🙂 Happy Dotting ! 🙌🤗
