at 1:13, what are those consistency checkers called used to check the transparency for base, layers and glazes?
Ben I'm a huge fan of your work! Where did you get those handy paint consistency cards?

Hey, any chance you have planned any Chaos Daemons for warhammer (AoS/40k)? Preferably Tzeentch something like a Lord of change or daemon prince since feel like they are kind of different and well hard to find great tutorials for those models. Thanks in advance. (Sent you a youtube pm with it before with no answer, then forgot how youtube has made private messages terribly to find)

Hey Ben! I've watched a few vids of yours now, and I was wondering how you stop the paints on your wet palette from drying out too quickly or just wicking all over the paper. I've found if I put enough water in the wet palette to so it doesn't wick then it dries quite quickly, if I use a bit more it spreads all over the place, especially once stored. Hope you can help me!
@benkomets4948 жыл бұрын
Hi Rider, i just released a small basic video on how i build my wet palette.. the problem is.. a lot of things come together.. the climate of your workspace, humidity in the air, quality of water, quality of your palette paper and how tight your palette closes... i prefer to have my palette quite wet before i stop to paint and not close the lid 100% .. but i have to refresh my paints in the morning with a bit of water.

Hi Ben, great video and skill as always! What paper are you using for your wet palette? I'm somewhat struggling with my baking-paper solution. If you can share some information on the kind of paper and maybe also where I can purchase it (in Germany), I'll be a very happy panda.

Whenever I'm using metallics, I always find it tricky to get all the shiny pigments out and they get into my other paints, especially washes. Do you have any tips for this?
@harrymanback34754 жыл бұрын
Use separate brushes and separate water for metallics. It's the only way to eliminate cross contamination.

Awesome job! Though I'm not sure I was able to follow you well enough to use this video as a guide to learn how to paint the way you do. Unfortunate and maybe I'm just not picking up on what you are putting down.... or maybe it was not meant to be instructional, more demonstrative? I feel more like I'm watching you paint, than watching you instruct. Anyway - great work!
