It makes me so happy to see watercolor artists using darks in the early phases.

I find it really helps with the whole painting if the tonal range is established early on :-)

So I've been exploring different styles and this is still my favorite look. Realistic watercolor with that WOW factor. I LOVE Anna Mason's process as it breaks things down into simple steps and the paintings look breathtaking. I still admire my Arctic Iris from class almost everyday.

This is stunning! Love your work.Is this also one of the courses from your online school? I'm looking for a detailed course of Hydrangea. As I need to follow along and learn. I loved the pear tutorial!
@NatureStudioTV5 жыл бұрын
Hi Elizabeth, yes the Hydrangea is a sketchbook tutorial in my online School. However, it's not a full tutorial, I do provide the drawing and picture to paint the full Hydrangea, but in the actual tutorial, I just show students how to paint the flowers and there's another tutorial on painting leaves. By combining the two tutorials, our members have proved that it's possible to achieve amazing results painting the whole thing! :)
