Wow Jane you done it again , another beautiful painting , I’m interested in trying painting one of your paintings to see how I go but which one they are all fabulous. In the future I’m going to have to upgrade everything I use , the cheap brushes and cheap paints just don’t do it for me anymore , good paintings deserve better , my painting with the cheaper paints lack the vibrant Color’s, time to upgrade . 🙏

Thank you! I use a student grade red or orange color for the background and apply with an inexpensive sponge brush from the hardward store, applying a thin layer of paint so the canvas doesn't lose "teeth." You may want to check out the video at my channel, "Preparing the Canvas."
