Silly putty is a better masking material than sticky tack. It covers just as easily but is orders of magnitude less frustrating to peel off

@@HyperionHarry look for science putty or "thinking putty" You find it under fidget toys. A little tip as well. If you find it and apply it to a tank, wait 30 seconds to a minute cause its much softer than sticky tack and will sink into all the little recesses and crevices molded into the model.

@@officialwarhammer Doubt it'll get worked on until next year, I have other projects lined up, but I certainly will do as I'm pretty pleased with my converted Tank Commander/Driver.

You could also look how real tank regiments deal with adverse weather camo painting, although given that Stripe Camo patterns are now somewhat uncommon, perhaps taking your time with digital camo or block colours may be better. Only a suggestion though.
