Glad to hear it! Yeah faces are pretty much the most commonly requested thing in the past few months so I will be doing a video on them soon!
@GDGTV11 жыл бұрын
They are the best I have used for line quality and they don't pop and crack (leaving tiny spatters of ink) when you're pressing hard on them like some others do. I haven't used every type of pen so I can't compare them to everything they are just the best I have found so far

Hey Gram! Just came across your tube channel. Your a huge inspiration my man. I have started sketching and using your videos as reference. I would like to see some sailor style stuff like anchors and ships and in that relm. I started a few months ago tracing art from old record albums and pics from google, but now i am just looking at pictures and making them my own freehand style. just purchased some copic pens and a zig Millenium I will show you some pics when they are done. Thanks bud! keep 'em coming.

I've never subscribed to any KZbin channel before, but your videos are tops man. Wonderful artwork, and a fantastic, through explanation for everything you do. Keep up the great work and the great videos!

What makes Zig Millenniums so great? Would you say they're the same as any other fine line pen? Like for example Microns? If you could answer this, that would be top!

Yeah for sure I will be doing a sheet of that kinda stuff soon, thanks for the request :)

I don't know why people get on you for using markers. So what its easier. The difficulty of the work doesn't change the fact that it looks nice. As well, sense when does difficulty mean better? Its not cheating its efficient.
@GDGTV11 жыл бұрын
Ah good stuff...well any advice you need just let me know! Also another thing you might not know is power supplies like eikons have a setting where you don't need to use the footswitch so that wouldn't be a problem for you if you got one of them

Yeah just let it dry for about a minute first and I use a artgum eraser. They are really soft and less abrasive to the paper and ink so work really well

We have a lot of free time sometimes so I have been trying to teach myself how to draw traditional art, mainly because I haven been wanting to be a tattoo artist for awhile now and you're helping me out so much! although I do not have the proper paper and copic markers to work with! but thanks!

Water colors do not become diluted after they dry, once dry they are permanent. Watercolors are harder to use, but generally cheaper in the long run and you can achieve a bit more.
@chappyhaley9 жыл бұрын
Are the greys you use copic ciao as well? I'm from Australia and they're super hard to find. Even the blender, I can only get the (slightly fatter) copic sketch, unless it's in the colours. Your chanel is super helpful. It's not often I get to pick an artists brain on the best designing tools (whenever a friend's getting a tatt done and I go as "support" :P) and then I stumbled across your channel. Artists would tell me "if your art is shit hot you'll get in" but I couldn't find what style portfolio you would need to be considered "shit hot" :P and the process of line work. Massive help. Legend.

Hi GrahameGDG! I saw almost all your videos and I love it! I'm trying to start practicing my drawing, but don't know where to start. Should I start reproducing simple and old school designs or tracing tattoos that I love and color it or should I go right to tracing photos and making my own compositons and practicing everyting at the same time? Whats your advice? Thanks ;)

It's hard to see in the video - are you blending the colours together or just kind of stacking the colours on top of each other? great videos by the way!
@TheChairmanZero6 жыл бұрын
He explains what he's doing, he is essentially stacking colours, however with fresh ink they will naturally bleed together to an extent so the blending will come natural.

@GDGTV11 жыл бұрын
I can't really recommend anything as I only ever use copics but I don't think there's anything really cheap that would be any good realistically. If you want to make good quality flash you gotta spend the money on the right supplies really
