I'd have to say my favorite boss fight was with the Lady of the Astral Clocktower herself. The magnificent Lady Maria. I'll never forget the first time walking up to her and hearing the iconic corpse line, words everyone should live by. Getting to hear it referenced in Elden Ring was ever so sweet.

Darkeater Midir is my all-time favorite boss, the music, the lore, the spectacle and scale of the fight is just beyond any of the other bosses for me. Plus when phase two hits and he unleashes his laser beam attack...amazing haha

Father gascoigne was such an amazing introduction boss to teaching players how to play Bloodborne. Very frustrating but he holds so many tricks that force the player to play more aggressively.

Oh Abyss watchers for sure the music that plays during the fight is amazing. The first phase is so epic you taking on two of the watchers before being aided by a third, and the final phase with all those big sweeps and dashes is like a dance. Also the lore behind them is just epic slayers of the abyss who fell to it, and now have to fight each-other

I remember the first time I fought Lady Maria. Prior to picking up Bloodborne, I hadn't played a FromSoft game. I actually initially rage quit Bloodborne in the starting area, then came back to it several months later. Flash forward tens of hours and I'm fighting Lady Maria. FromSoft hooked me from this point on. From the setting in the Astral Clocktower to the music to her opening cutscene - it's all perfect. Knowing her backstory adds to the tragic circumstances you find her in as well as knowing why she's fighting you. It's truly brilliant.

It's hard to pick just one but the abyss watchers are probably my favourite. Encountering them for the first time was an experience and a true test of patience. Great work on the Gargoyle's armour! The green tones are such an improvement and capture the oxidised copper colouring seen in game.

Out of all of the amazing bosses in FromSoft, I gotta give it to Gael. To me, his fight feels like the culmination of Dark Souls as a whole. It's just two warriors fighting to the death, surrounded by a dying world. And the combat of the fight is just perfect, its hard enough to keep you on your toes but not overwhelming enough to feel hopeless.

Before telling you about my favorite boss. I want to say that for your first miniatures, the first Gargoyle looks excellent for a tabletop-ready figure. I also overused washes when I started. Nowadays I use them only for localized areas or special effects. I love your free style with the brush, not constraint to the miniature details (when I paint I tend to restrict myself too much). After watching your Sister Friede video I started applying it to my painting techniques. About the boss, well for many years Ornstein and Smough was my favorite boss fight, the first time took me about 106 tries to beat them. But in dark souls 3 I fought Sister Friede and Father Ariandel, and man, that "no!!!!" moment when Friede stands for the third time it's unforgettable. Imagine me saying to myself "no!!! no!!! no!!!", the most amazing fight in the whole series. I loved it so much that I spend hours helping other players to fight them. That boss fight summarizes Dark Souls on its whole for me.

Without a doubt, my favorite boss is Slave Knight Gael From Dark Souls 3 DLC. His fight is the climax from the whole trilogy, you are fighting at the end of the world and time at a sea of ashes of countlesses cycles of kidling the dying flame over the blood of the dark souls, the primordial substance which created humanity itself and that it can create another world free of rotting of the current. He has arguably one of the best soundtracks of all gaming (with 3 phases, which one more epic than the other). He is one of the most difficult but balanced boss fights (with 3 freaking phases) and I also love his lore and how he cursed himself willingly by going mad for the power of the dark souls just so that we could create another world.

The re-paint of the gargoygle is amazing, it really invokes that sense of it being a sort of old and worn statue. My favorite boss from soulsborne has got to be either the Soul of Cinder or Slave Knight Gael. DKS3 had probably the best boss designs out of the entire franchise.

Man this really takes me back! Personally my favourite boss is Radahn from Elden Ring. It's great fun summoning and army to take him on and just see him smash through all the characters, but also trying him solo is a great challenge too. He's just a badass.

I remember the first time I met Gale in the "Cathedral of Deep". He looks so tired and weak. Then you walk in to the last "Ringed City" boss arena and he greets you by killing a cripped king and starts running towards you like an ox. and when i beat him for the first time after 40 tries, it felt so good.

I paused the video when you asked the question, so that I could quickly scan through All Boss videos of DS to make sure. My gut instinct was to choose Sanctuary Guardian, and I still agree after skimming all the recaps. It's not his design (which is usually a big factor for me), but it's the staging and his aggression. Put at the very beginning of the DLC content, he is a pretty formidable opponent that defies your way to see deeper into the world. You have to be agile and need to manage your stamina, unlike some of those bosses that you can just hide around their backside, roll away, and repeat.

My favorite fromsoft boss gotta be Soul of Cinder. The arena is just gorgeous, the soundtrack is my favorite fromsoft has made, and its lore. The build up is such a huge psrt of it too. The final boss of everything. The second phase made me tear up. The call back to gwyn is so emotionally impactful if you play the games in order.

For a boss, I'd go with the recent entry of General Radahn. The fight itself is a spectacle and very challenging. What takes it further for me in terms of enjoyment is that there is so much build up for this Demigod. You learn a lot about his achievements during the Shattering, he definitely has a mythological reputation. Of course, this is completely justified, the guy is a beast. Add to that the insane cutscene we get before the battle and the mid-combat meteor strike. This fight is epic.

My favorite boss is Ornstein and Smough. I just couldn't allow myself to summon Solaire because I was so mad after dying over and over again and felt like I wanted to take them back with my own hands. Probably got me spending a couple more hours but how rewarding it was!

My favorite boss has to be O&S. I specifically remember the first time I encountered them. It was a sunday, my parents were having a garage sale, my brother in his room playing whatever he was into at the time, and me in my room, sweating my 10 year old ass off with my crystal halberd +2 against the two. When I finally beat them, I ran out first things first to tell my brother, and boy it felt good. Now that I’m older, I appreciate the beautiful OST and the designs of them. Hands down, favorite boss.

Favorite boss? Dang, that's another tough one. You could just play one game and you're gonna have a hell of a time choosing one, and I've played five so far (Demon's Souls, Dark Souls, Dark Souls 2, Bloodborne, and Sekiro). I guess I'll give the prize to Sword Saint Isshin from Sekiro. He's such a fantastic and worthy opponent designed to test EVERY skill you've learned over the course of the game. He is hard, possibly the hardest boss I've ever fought in a video game, but he is just so amazingly designed that you just can't feel frustrated. And when you finally defeat him, you truly feel like a badass. And what's especially cool about him is that despite this being a game where you fight monsters, oversized animals, cursed creatures, and undead beings, it's just one supremely skilled swordsman that stands head and shoulders over all of them. Fighting Isshin makes you fully understand WHY the Interior Ministry was so afraid of invading Ashina while he was alive. By the way, I don't think the Bell Gargoyles can drool. They're beings made entirely out of bronze. Just thought I should rain on your parade. ^_~

Its the whole package, the lore about the painted world, and the 3 stage fight itself. Diversity and a beautiful soundtrack. Besides that, the hartrate of mine with this fight was insane..

i really love the demon of hatred from sekiro. the person he was before he became that (and the person he was before we met him) is one of my favorite characters in the games. the boss seemed completely insurmountable at first. it seemed hopeless so i looked up how to cheese him and when i heard the final words he says after you kill him in the “how to cheese” video, i figured i had to grow up, git gud, and give him a proper death. felt so good to send him off with a proper dual. rest in peace sekijo.

I will never forget the horror I felt after stepping through the fog Gate and being confronted by the Capra demon. I know once you level up he's got the hardest boss in the world and you can cheese him but the dread I felt going back to that fog Gate days with me to this day

My favourite Fromsoftware boss is the legendary duo Ornstein&Smough. Even though the bosses have become more complex in appearance and moveset, this battle sparks nostalgia in all veteran players. its a recent one but Maliketh is such an awesome fight! Everything is done right, from the leadup going through the hardest, dragon-filled area of the game to the insanely high damage attacks and high speed. Plus, this great fight is made better by the legion of bosses in the area that you have to fight to get to him (godskin duo, draconic tree sentinel, around 900 dragons and some optional npc fights for some sick gear like Alexander)

It's almost impossible to pick one favorite boss from any Fromsoftware game, but this time I have to go for "Isshin the Sword Saint" from Sekiro. He is definitely the best final boss of all Fromsoftware games as the boss puts you into ultimate test. It is the hardest boss, but also the most fun to play against and defeating him the first time was so satisfying.

My favorite boss from the entire library is probably Lady Maria of the Astral Clocktower from Bloodborne. I don’t think any of the games have really done PVP style fights as well as Bloodborne, and every aspect of the fight is perfect. Arena, music, lore, the fight itself, etc., it’s all brilliantly done.

My favorite boss is the abyss watchers from dark souls 3 the theme is on of my favorite they look sick as hell and just something about this boss fight just clicks for me it was the first souls born I played (went back and played the rest after 3) and the first time I had that boss I just couldn’t beat but once that flip switched and the patterns lined up I never lost to him again it happens with all the souls born bosses but the abyss watchers was the first time I experienced it that’s why they’re my favorite
