This takes patience. Many people who do not paint, do not realize how long it takes to do this. Details are important. I have a daughter who loves daffodils. I did one painting for her from a photo she took. A very unique tree with a daffodil growing between the roots. Looked like the tree was hugging it. I always wondered how to do a group of these flowers up close. This looks great. Learning each time I watch. Even though I have been painting many years. Love it.

Yes the scientific name is narcissus but we call them daffodils in the US. That is their common name.
