I liked the effect of starting with painting the entire canvas blue and how that affected the over all tone. I learned better techniques for clouds. I learned that I am more of a realism type painter but I love how your painting captures the essence and mood of the photograph. I wish everyone could display their finished product so we could see everyone's interpretation of the lesson.

I love these paintings. You spoke of a suggestion to laminate the photo to protect it and still allow color testing. I like to slip my photos in a sheet protector. It works great
