I had to break and buy a new tablet. Purchased an Ipad for this app. I thought to watch some tutorials while I wait a month for delivery. After a few no starts, I found you. I'm an acyrlic artist and wow if I hadn't already bought the tablet, I'd be sold. As I am on your tutorials. I hope you do post more. Thank you for this one!

Having watched many videos (and taken courses) I have still found it too intimidating to get very far. Your video is so exceptional, I’m not surprised you have so many positive responses. I can only hope you do more of various scenes (landscapes, seascapes…… etc, etc), but keep that accessibility and ease of approach so that it maintains as inspirational as this video. Very, very well done ❤❤

Things I learned while watching without you even mentioning: You can create custom canvas sizes bigger than the defaults. You can create brush collections. You can finger tap to sample paint color. You can create painting "stacks" in the gallery view. Tons of good stuff.

Could someone please explain the function and benefit of using a clipping mask here? I didn’t understand it.
@shrinidhinarayanan742511 ай бұрын
If you put clipping mask, you won't be able to paint outside of the layer below the clipping mask. It basically lets you paint within the layer below it. So if you paint a rectangle and add a clipping mask layer above the rectangle, then you will be able to paint only inside the rectangle. Try it out and it'll be easier to understand.

Wonderful painting! Btw: What you drew is a RECTANGLE, not a square. I say that because I saw a young person totally veg when asked what the name of a shape is with four equal sides. He said he hadn’t “studied shapes” since he was five. ::::facepalms:::: But really, your skills are great!
