Pro tip, that cloth piece he pulled out of the speaker grill is called a scrim. Tack all your scrims to a large piece of cardboard and dust them lightly with the spray paint. They will not clog if you go light. This will keep the white from the scrim showing through the grill which sometimes happens depending on lighting in the room

Thank you! I had a grill on my cars dash that is very rare but someone had drilled holes through it and finally found a replacement at a junkyard, but it slightly doesn’t match the black of the other grill on the dash. This should fix it if I do them both!

Rattlecan paint is meant to be held upright when being sprayed.. best to hang or somehow mount your piece to something so that it sits vertical.

What is the insert called. I’ve been trying to find a replacement for mine since I got paint on them. I can’t find where to buy the replacement for my 8” Sonos ceiling speakers. Sonos just doesn’t sell the paper cloth insert so you can’t look up and see the speaker. They want to sell you the speaker grills for $80. What a rip off. Any help is greatly appreciated.
