Salmon with skin on is fine. Just cook it skin side down. When cooked, it will come off easily. :)

Do u get better results patting the salmon dry before? i like to marinate mine

Sure you can marinate it but depending on what you marinate it with the fish it might get stuck to the bottom of the pan.

Just pour some boiling water on the salmon and the skin will shrivel and be easier to remove. That's what TikTok showed me!

You could, but I can guarantee that you won't see this technique being used in any professional kitchens, because the salmon will partially cook when tou add boiler water and using a knife takes you a couple of seconds anyway. 😁

Yes, in this situation you could, but this process can't be applied to all the other fish, so it's great knowing how to remove the fish skin properly.
