How To Pan Fry Soup Dumplings - MìLà

How do you pan fry soup dumplings? After failing 4 times, I can confidently say this is the way to go!
✨While you wait for the oil on your pan to heat up, mix your slurry of 1/2 teaspoon corn starch, 1/2 teaspoon flour, and 1/2 cup of water together.
✨Add soup dumplings to pan and wait til bottom of dumpling is golden brown. Add slurry!
✨Cover for 6 minutes then remove lid for 2 minutes - until bottom crisps and soup dumplings are removed!
✨Enjoy!~

After you add the slurry you can add the lid but half cocked so it allows the slurry to cook down instead of steam! Allows for an even crust on the bottom!! I’m so excited to try these dumplings!

Finally was able to try them because they were available at my local grocery store. However, I wasn’t a fan. Steamed them in a bamboo steamer for the length of time on the back of the package and the first time they were dry due to user error, but tried it again and it worked! Honestly the taste was bland and the dumplings are expensive for the size and amount you get. If they just tasted better I would be able to move past everything else. This is some top level marketing for not so good dumplings.
