Just to add some context: I started the True Forex Funds evaluation process 1 week prior to my FundedNext challenge documentary. FundedNext I did aggressively 3% risk per trade. True Forex Funds I did 2% risk per trade. Hence it's a bit of a different case study. Same trades have been taken, but I explain the trades also more from the technical aspect. Hope you are going to enjoy documentary! Please leave a like and a comment below.

Wichtiger Content, Bernd. Love your content

Good to see that you are dominating the prop space with SUPPLY AND DEMAND strategy. I also use the same strategy . Can you name genuine prop firms which allows Stocks for trading?
@berndskorupinski Жыл бұрын
Thank you 🙏. Obviously I am only using Supply and Demand for Market Timing. Generally speaking I don’t recommend prop firms cause I don’t want to be affiliated with any of them. I am neutral. But small hint: Check the prop firms I am using. All of them offer stock trading except for one. I am all happy with them.

The entry here stems from an "Investor mindset" with an investor large cap and investor invalidation level for stop loss. More so, fundamentals gives us an idea but it sometimes it takes time for the market to price it in, here it took 2 weeks to kick in. The difference with "Trader mindset" with small capital was that they cannot afford wide stop loss thus his timing for entry must be precise. We all make mistakes, what saved this trade was the logical stop loss befitting the timeframe of entry and risk management.

It's all about finding the right balance between the investor and trader mindsets. Timing and risk management are crucial in any trade and investment!

Hi Bernd, in the [Week 1] Video, your SL was hat 886, under the 30.June Swinglow. In the [Week 2] Video you would have been stopped out, but ur SL was now at 880..... Can you explain that why u moved it? Its not "set and forget"

3% risk per trade on that challenge.
@sam56094 Жыл бұрын
I got recommended by you from Rasheed . I trade 4H and have a hard time with finding a good way to manage my trade . I see you do set & forget . How are you able to manage your emotion when targeting a 3R with set and forget and the trade reaches 2R and you come back to a -1 ?.
@berndskorupinski Жыл бұрын
If you are 2Rs up and go home with a loser, then this is the worst money management you can possibly do. Get a rule to move your SL accordingly. Mechanical rule e.g. price moves 1:1 you move SL to BE. price moves 1:2 you move SL to 1:1 etc…

@berndskorupinski That's a risk of 2% per trade, In your case you're risking a total of 4% for both positions and taking into consideration that the daily loss limit of prop firms is 5%. If those stops got hit, you won't trade for that day again to prevent a breach. The max loss limit should be 10% and taking such huge hit at the beginning of the challenge should be devastating especially from a psychological standpoint. I believe the risk can allow you to pass it quickly and could also hasten your account getting close to getting breached. It's a two-edged sword and can cut both ways.

@berndskorupinski Жыл бұрын
That’s a super complex discussion that cannot be answered in two, three simple questions. Basically it’s important that your LTF is covered by HTF (e.g. daily zone covered by weekly) covered zones are the best cause you re trading with the strength of the HTF zone…if this makes sense?
@friendlyfacist1 Жыл бұрын
@@berndskorupinski yes sir htf holds more weightage cause its neeeds more money to move from a point to point but i was wondering how you approach supply and demand like if zone got wicked (breached) do you still consider it as valid zone.?

I mean, just a question, but how would you allow one setup to float for -7k losses? Did you had the SL at the first place? Or did you placed it later on? If things go against you, you’re technically bombing the account right? Sorry just some questions!
@neohyongofficial Жыл бұрын
Sorry for sounding like a doubt, but you described that you were ‘hoping’ it would eventually move back into your favour. But isn’t a professional trader’s acting as per the market evidence - what they see? You can always get out temporarily until price action clears your doubt then get back in right? I am a full-time 7 fig trader too, but it seems to me like your risk exposure is rather high, maybe it’s just within your edge! But still, good one for the video!
@berndskorupinski Жыл бұрын
2 trades with 2% risk. It’s a high quality setup and still within the risk parameters. So all cool. You will see how it turns in my favor in week 3.

@patricknganga30 so yes Patrick, theoretically you are right. But since it’s a challenge environment and in week 3 I will open a Gold position and a US30 position, I will exit the Platinum trade a bit earlier because we almost hit the 8% profit target.
