I've set up a form for users to enter the URL location of a public medical journal article. I have a second form where committee members need to see the URL to grade the article. How can I share the URL that was submitted on form one, to form two?
@Jotform2 ай бұрын
Hi @ColleenWhelan-y3p, You can use the same method as explained in this guide, but we'd recommend that you encode the URL value so it won't break the form link. To do that, just add URLENDCODE: prefix inside the unique name of the field that you want to encode its value. For instance, if the unique name is {myURL}, it becomes {URLENDCODE:myURL}. We also have a guide that explaining how to do that here: www.jotform.com/help/164-pass-value-to-another-form-with-url-encoding/. If you have more questions, let us know from our Contact Us page at www.jotform.com/contact/. We'll be happy to help.

Is the Thank You Page you show a separate page that you made? Or is it the Thank You page that comes with most forms? To be specific, we want to pull a widgets random number (that is generates) and add it to the Thank You page that goes to the person that signed up on this form. However it doesn't seem to be working. Can info from the source form for be passed to the source forms thank you page?
@Jotform4 ай бұрын
Hi John, It is possible to show the field or widget values into your form's thank you page. Let me show you how: 1. In Form Builder, click SETTINGS. 2. Click THANK YOU PAGE. 3. Click Add Field located beside to the formatting toolbar on the thank you page. 4. Choose the fields you want to display on the thank you page by clicking the plus (+) button. 5. You’re all set! To test it, make an actual submission on your form. Give this a try and let us know if you come across issues from our Contact Us page at www.jotform.com/contact/. We'll be happy help.

Is there a way to follow up a specific submitted record thorough an approval workflow?
@Jotform9 ай бұрын
Hi Carlos, If you want form respondents to follow up or update their submissions record, you can share them the edit link of their submission. You can add the edit link either on your form's thank you page, in your form's autoresponder, or in the email notification in your approval flow. We have a guide here on how to let users update their submissions by adding the edit link in the autoresponder message: www.jotform.com/help/40-how-to-let-users-update-their-form-submissions-at-a-later-date/. The edit link can be found in the Form Fields toolbar in the email notification editor. For the Thank you page, the Edit Submission option can be found on Action Buttons. Give it a try and let us know if you have more questions from the Contact Us page at www.jotform.com/contact/. We'll be happy to help.

@@Jotform Ok, but how does this work if you have multiple forms and you'd like to send them a few days apart from each other to collect various information and combine it all into one record (specifically to be able to add this updated info to a 3rd party app like ClickUp and have it all go under one task's custom fields). Again, this is multiple forms, spread out over a few days or weeks and automatic emails being sent with links to fill the forms out but they are all connected to same contact record.

@@matthewburt7022 My current work-around for what you are trying to do: I use Google Sheets to prefill Jotform's URL and then use ClickUp & Zapier to send the Custom Link

Hi @therhinointhemix3896, At the 1:05 minute mark of the video, you'll see where to copy the form link. This is the link of the form that you are going to prefill. You can also refer to our text instructions at this link: www.jotform.com/help/351-how-to-automatically-pass-form-data-to-another-form/.
