He’s definitely not lying about driving the way they want you to drive. Failed my first but passed my second. These videos helped. The instructor constantly saying mirror and shoulders in the videos helped me a lot.

Thank u for this video I soon take my road test but my driver instructor never taught me how to check the back mirrors other den when doing broken U turn and pulling out. I never knew I had to check the back mirror when turning. i would only check my blind spot. So thank you. I watched this video about 5 times now

Signals pretty late and still not checking his shoulders. Parallel parking was good though. Hope he passed and reminds himself the shoulder check.

First of all the student appears to look uncomfortable with that big coat hood on the student looks stiff he’s not moving his head to check his surroundings🚙🚗Hopefully the student was able to pass his DMV Road Test with a few more classes👍🏼

He's terrible with checking his blind spot over his shoulders or mirrors. He makes me nervous, I know I'm only learning also, but I don't like his driving too much. Great video to help with the driving test, much appreciated.

That's how I passed . Checking my mirrors and shoulders. I have watched tons of these videos from Ben and even though I didn't get to do my lessons with him I still had two great instructors a long with all Ben's tips and the instructors tips. Even if nobody is there you're still supposed to check if you have to triple check do that. You don't need to impress the examiners just relax and take your time signal, look, stay aware of all your surroundings etc.

Are the three signals required for the k turn? My instructor told me I don’t need to signal three times. I only signal at the beginning

My instructor said I don’t need to check shoulder when turning left,unless changing lanes. Is that right She literally gets upset when I check for traffic when I have the right of way I know the drivers are supposed to stop but I’m just cautious that some people will try to rush and hit me

Yes you should look over your shoulder even when turning left but your instructor is most likely saying that just because the left turn maneuver is a more wider action compared to a right turn which is a much sharper action meaning you'll be able to react to a bike or pedestrian if they happen to run straight past your blind spot. Changing lanes blind spot check is so you don't hit another car, turning left or right blind spot check is so you don't hit a biker/pedestrian.

This is probably an old video posted now cause the outfit doesn’t match the weather today. Definitely poor shoulder checking no matter how many times he was reminded. Even though the parking was good I didn’t like how he did that 3 point turn the first time coming out of parking. He should of reverse enough to the point he saw the tires in front of him and then turn all the way left. Left / right turns wasn’t the best, but I could see why he failed. I hope he passed going forward since I’m sure this video is old.

The guy really doesn’t check the shoulders. He is good for driving but when it come for shoulders no,but I don’t know why he cover all his head when it’s not winter anymore,probably why he couldn’t check the shoulders with all those clothing on his face.

I agree with you on the checking his shoulder issue that’s absolutely right..but I think it’s cause it’s early morning so it may be colder cause ben also has a scarf on and also he can be anemic as well that’s the only things I can think of
