@@user-yf7es4gz3o I studied for almost a month. I loved math from High school so some topics I just needed reminding of. I recommend Grammar Hero on KZbin for that.. he makes the topics seem easier & his practice tests help too!! I would say I have an average vocabulary so I didn’t pay much attention to the Word knowledge aspect. Like a week leading up to my ASVAB date, I searched information for the Science & Electrical subsection & I studied those. I ended up getting an 82 & my recruiter said I qualify for almost all the jobs…

Which jobs I can get is either radiology technician or medical laboratory technician etc, but I wish I could've gotten a 107gt score so I could get the nurse mos 68c. 🤔 Ugh I hate AR. My brain 🧠 literally dies when I see worded math problems haha 🤣 give me stuff like (x+3)(x+9) etc I'll destroy it. That's why my GT score is low 😭😭😭 I only studied General Science for 4days mechanical comprehension for 1 day and math 2 days

Take a full version practice test online, it should show your scores for each category. Based on your scores, get an asvab study book and study those concepts working with what youre worst at to what youre strongest in. Try to focus also on how youre taking the test. If youre the kind of person who gets confused by questions or how things are phrased try reading all the answers FIRST then the question SECOND. This may help you slow down and pay better attention to what EXACTLY the question is asking. In your studying also try to focus on foundation concepts rather than details. Learning math concepts like P.E.M.D.A.S. or Electrical concepts like Ohms Law could help you answer multiple questions potentially. Studying vocabulary and paragraph comprehension go hand in hand usually, flashcards are great for studying word knowledge. Automotive knowledge can be better explained by watching videos on the concepts; how does a gas engine work/how do brakes work/how does a transmission make the car move etc etc. you can find an abundance of youtube videos that explain basic automotive technology principles. By learning what certain parts of a car do you also learn what they dont do, so that helps eliminate wrong answers in other questions. For instance, if you learn that a caliper uses pistons to squeeze your brake pads on to a rotor then you know it has nothing to do with exhaust system for an engine. Continue to take online tests for free after youve studied for a while and track your progress. it may take you a long time but thats a great opportunity to get in even better shape for whatever bootcamp you go to. Work closely with your recruiter and make time to study a bit more everyday, id say give 30-60 minutes a day 3-5 times a week to go over a single subject. Go to a local thrift store and see if they have a discounted ASVAB study guide book. People buy and get rid of them pretty frequently, if not try thriftbooks.com and look for one there. If youre not able to afford it at all, try your local library and go rent it for while, do not write in it though (duh). Also you can try to ask around your recruiting office if some people who have already depped in dont need theirs anymore. Check as well on offerup and ask someone nicely and they very well may be generous enough to give it but they might also tell you no but its worth a try if youre really desperate. When you do get a study book, take it with you everywhere. Take it with you to work/school and use your lunch or downtime to focus on your weakest subjects. Also check around online or with your recruiter to see if there are any study groups/tutors to help you. There are also a host of study apps you can find, try searching some military reddit threads to find some good reccs, i dont have any personally but I d know they are out there. Remember: KZbin can explain about 99.99% of the stuff youre struggling with. Use the hell out of it. youll get better with time but only if you actually try. You can do this friend, you need to be dedicated and confident but you can do it. Good luck to you Mohammad.
