Thanks for sharing again. I heard that a lot of successful people wake up really early, so it makes sense regardless of cpa exam. And the order makes sense. I think I’ll go with that order. Thanks!

Thank you for your comments again. Even after passing the exam, I still wake up early every day, because one day I woke up at a normal time, and the day felt so short. There's so much you can do if you wake up early, and I believe that's why many successful people wake up early.

Thank you for sharing. I watched all your videos, hope them can help. I have a question about the language bias, what good idea you go over it? For example, how to deal with the multiple choices maybe one word for each choice, the words are similar meaning in translation( your native language) from the English?

Great content again. I wished I worked for those companies… I get up at 5 but always get sleepy in the afternoon… Can you always fall asleep at noon, and at 10?
@sugarcpaus20912 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment and question. Once it becomes the routine, it's not that difficult. If you already get up at 5, and getting sleepy in the afternoon, then I believe you can fall asleep if you can find a quiet place.

Hi Sugar, are you staying in States? I am staying in Japan. I am staying in Japan from my 20th, now I am at the beginning of 60th, it is too late to learn. But to continue to work as accountant I have to learn. One of the way is to learn CPA, because it gives me a wide understanding about accounting. Since my major is engineering I need to get more credits for exams. It took me 1year to get 12 credits from 4 subjects. After obtaining enough credits I try to concentrate on FAR from last Nov 2022. I am still not confidend enough to sit on exams. I am learning very orthodoxly, 1 per 1 chapter and mc. Sometimes I take time on mcqs. I went 1 round of the chapter and now learning for the second round. I am not smart and have short memories. So I think i need more time to learn. I cannot imagine that you only need 7 weeks to pass FAR. How many hours a day you took to learn? I work full time, I only learn 2 hours in the week day after work, and about 5 hours at weekend. I cannot wake up early in the morning, eventhough I tried many times. Tomorrow I will try to wake up at 5 again. My husband wakes up at 4. Eventhogh I wake up early, I cannot concentrate because of him, I prefer to learn at night. Nobody disturbs me. But tired, difficult to concerntrate. What do you think? Sorry to write so long. Thanks for reading it.

Thank you for your questions. I think it's never too late to learn. I live in the States. I wasn't working full time when I was studying, so I had the big advantage. I was studying 4 to 5 hours everyday, and a bit more right before the exam. I only had some part-time jobs which was only like 4 to 6 hours a day. And my wife and children don't wake up till about 7, so I had noone to disturb me from 3 to 7 in the morning. I think it's important to somehow create the environment where you can really concentrate, because studying itself is stressful, and if you get disturbed, that would just multiply the stress level. That part is difficult for me to help, but I hope you find a solution. Best of luck on your journey, and please let me know again if you have further questions.

Thanks a lot - this is very helpful. Can you please help with a question like when you started studying - after applying for exam or completed your prep before applying for exam?
@sugarcpaus2091 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment and question. I applied for exam in the middle of the course, usually when I started feeling comfortable. But I sometimes applied before feeling comfortable just to make it in time for score release. Hope this answered your question, but please let me know if you have further. And best of luck!

Thanks a lot. Just a further detail that did you complete studying and exams both for all four sections within two months? If this is so than hats off to you.
@sugarcpaus2091 Жыл бұрын
Thank you. The way they count the months actually starts from the date of passing the first section, so 2 months excludes the time I studied for the first section, which was FAR, the longest section. I studied for 7 or 8 weeks for FAR, so if I include that it's close to 4 months. I think I clarified that somewhere, but that's the way everyone else is counting to be consistent with how they count the 18 months to pass all 4 sections.
@piyushsinha9698 Жыл бұрын
Sir - Even it is 4 months it is highly commendable.

Hi Thank for this video! I am thinking to start cpa but have to do preparatory course first, so it will take 4 and half years to finish cpa , is it recommended to go for cpa? Please guide me as m a 35years old now
@sugarcpaus20912 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment and question. I think being a CPA will be a big advantage, especially if you are in accounting or finance field. If you are trying to become a Controller, it is a must, and even for CFO's it's definitely better to have it. Even if you are not in accounting or finance, it is a good set of knowledge to have. It's not only accounting but also corporate governance, tax (which is really good to know for personal reasons), business law, etc. It's always good to have that kind of knowledge. Hope this was helpful, but please let me know if you have further questions.

When will you take exercise every day to keep you alert on the study’s?

I usually studied very early in the morning, then ate breakfast, and studied a bit more, then took a nap and then exercised.

Hi People usually recommend FAR-AUD and REG-BEC as they say BEC really helps after REG. Is that correct ? Please guide me Thank you
@sugarcpaus2091 Жыл бұрын
Hmmm... not sure why they recommend that order. Personally, I thought the biggest overlap was between BEC and AUD. I didn't see much overlap between BEC and REG. Maybe a little between FAR and AUD, since FAR is like the basic of everything.

It is hard for me concentrate in the evening. how many hours will you take a break? For me, it is 2 hours. How about you?
@sugarcpaus2091 Жыл бұрын
Evening is difficult for me too, so I studied mostly in the morning. I took many short breaks, usually 5 minutes after 45 minutes to 1 hour of study.
@sims2669 Жыл бұрын
What was your study schedule by time? 4-5am then 5-6am , How many breaks?
@sugarcpaus2091 Жыл бұрын
My schedule was more by task than time, and I took break after finish watching video or after doing a set of questions, and I took many breaks. I had my iPhone in a different room, and just spent 5-10 min playing with it during the break.

How many houses on CPA study a day?
@sugarcpaus2091 Жыл бұрын
It really depends on how many days you have until the exam, but the total hours should be between 120 to 200 hours for all sections other than FAR, and FAR should be more than 200 hours.
@sonyajee3399 Жыл бұрын
How many hours did you study each day for the exams? Also, how many hours studied in total for each section?
@sugarcpaus2091 Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your questions. It's been a while now, so I don't remember clearly, but I studied about 4-5 hours a day, and more like 6 hours a day right before the exam. So, I studied about 100-120 hours for each section except FAR which I probably spent more than 200 hours. Please let me know if you have more questions.
