I highly recommend this study course. I’ve been using it to prepare for my IFR written exam. It is definitely helpful to understand some of the concepts in a user-friendly way. I have chosen to really focus on ground school and test prep before I start my Flight training, because I found trying to do both through my PPL Overwhelming. So instead of doing both on a parallel track, I’m doing the written ground school stuff first to have some idea of concepts, take the written exam, and then jump into the airplane. But folks can do it anyway that makes sense to them.bottom line, this self study course is a good one.
