Hello to all of my Healthcare brothers and sister! The 2020 AHA Guidelines are out. I have posted the new videos for BLS, ACLS, and PALS: kzbin.info/aero/PLhOFBB3AV9swkQ1KUodrLKmxvEbI3R0-R. These changes will not take place until February 2021; however, these concepts are currently being taught in your courses. ☺️❤️

Hi Nurse Cheung! I am taking my first ever PALS course next week. Although I do not work with the pediatric population as an RN, I wanted to have this certification to make myself appear more marketable. I have both BLS and ACLS already. I am so nervous! I did very well for my ACLS course, but PALS seems like so much more and different information. Wish me luck!

Hello! 🌟 Firstly, kudos to you for taking the initiative to further your skills and knowledge with the PALS certification! It's a great decision, not just for making yourself more marketable but also for personal and professional growth. It's completely natural to feel nervous, especially when venturing into a new area of study. While PALS does cover a distinct set of guidelines compared to ACLS, remember that the foundational concepts of life support and emergency care remain similar. Your experience and success with BLS and ACLS will undoubtedly support you through the PALS course. A few tips for your PALS course: Preparation: Before your course, review the PALS algorithms, medication dosages, and potential pediatric emergencies. Familiarity can help reduce anxiety. Ask Questions: If something doesn't make sense, ask. Instructors are there to help, and it's better to clarify doubts early on. Group Dynamics: Engage with your peers and collaborate during group scenarios. Sharing knowledge and discussing different approaches can be beneficial. Remember, every nurse was new to PALS at some point, and the course is designed to ensure that you walk away with the skills and knowledge you need. Sending you all the positive vibes and best wishes! 🍀✨ You've got this, and your proactive approach to continuous learning speaks volumes about your dedication to the profession. Keep up the amazing work, and I'm sure you'll do great! 💪🌈🩺 And, of course, best of luck! 🌟🎉 Let us know how it goes!
