Also, some instructors will deliberately not put on their seat belt just to see if you'll leave the parking lot and start driving while they have it off so make sure you and your instructor are both buckled up.

I just passed the test (it’s really not as bad as you think). I was in the same shoes as a lot of people frantically searching for how to pass and what not to do and blah blah. You cannot over-stress yourself. Be confident (not stupid) and just appear in control the whole time. Also use your manners because the person testing you has the power to fail you at any point. YOU GOT THIS!

Okay, got it: Don't cross solid lines. Try to stay in right lane. Check over shoulders when turning. Adjust mirrors before starting. Immediately put seat belt on once you enter the car. Don't forget to use your blinker. Use your horn if you must. Hand at 10 and 2 or 9 and 3. Do not remove hands from the wheel when turning. ✍️✍️ Taking my test this week, I'm definitely gonna pass.

@@youssefhassanin4568 the first time, I hit a cone while backing out during the parking portion. The second time, I parked too close to the curb before the test and when I pulled out, I failed immediately because I hit the curb when turning to start the test. My advice is to stay straight when backing out or pulling out of your parking space, and just wait a bit before turning the wheel because your turns could be a lot tighter than you think. Also, make sure you straighten the wheel after making a turn of any kind, even when you are parking because having a turned wheel could mess up your next move.

Yesterday I passed my driver test thanks to this video. They say it was 15 mins it was only 8-10 minutes. 1: Study the inside of the car/ Pre checklist you can only 3 wrong but it’s not hard at all 2: Make sure you know how to safely make right and left turns 3. Make sure u over exaggerate when doing lane changes. Side mirror and look over shoulder 2-3 times and never change lane in intersection 4:They also make you reverse when you reverse look at back mirror and side mirror Constantly don’t rely on car camera. Please take the time to read this if you're taking your test. To everyone taking it, I passed on my 3rd try. I had been driving EVERYWHERE and had a year of experience. I knew how to 3 point turn, parallel park and everything. I still failed twice before passing. If I could give anyone tips it would be 1) Practice enough to where you're not nervous behind the wheel. A lot of people rush to take their test when they're not fully ready. The instructors look for confidence behind the wheel. If you show any confusion towards anything, you'll get points. 2) Make a complete stop. Make your stop BEFORE you start looking in both directions. If you don't, there's a big chance you won't stop completely (rolling stop.) That's the problem I had. Inattentive to traffic signs, worth 10 points out of the 30 you can get. Also make sure you inch up enough to where you can see up half a block in both directions. 3) Parallel parking. Line up your mirrors with the car next to you and then reverse to their middle door. Make sure your car is straight. If it's crooked, you're either gonna end up on the curb or with the back of your car sticking out. Once you're at the middle door, brake and cut your wheel all the way to the right. Let it go in reverse until you start to see their license plate, then cut hard to the left. Make sure you're within 8 inches from the curb. Readjust yourself if you have to. It's better to get excessive maneuvers (worth 5 points) than to be far from the curb. 4) SIGNAL!!! Signal for everything. Whether you're pulling away from a curb, pulling over, parallel parking or the 3 point turn. 5) Check your mirrors AND your blind spots always. During parking and your 3 point turn also. I forgot to check my blind spot either parking or the 3 point turn and I got 10 points for failing to adequately observe/use caution. Also, make sure the instructor sees you adjust all your mirrors before pulling off. 6) Make sure if you're turning out of a side street onto a main road, that no one is coming or that they're far enough away. If you rush to turn before they get to you, you'll get failure to yield to traffic which is an automatic fail. 7) Keep a good following distance between you and the car in front of you. Also make sure that if you're stopping behind them at a red light, that you can see a little bit of their wheels. If you can only see from the license plate up, you're way too close. 8) Not sure if you can get points for this but always make sure that when you're turning, you turn into the lane closest to you. The points go quick. Look up what else you can get points on to avoid doing it on your test. Don't be nervous and good luck to you all!!! Edit: Not related to the test but safety is important! Driving is fun and it's supposed to be. But you have to remember that you're operating a vehicle that weighs thousands of pounds. You need to take that seriously because accidents are no joke and they only take a second to happen. Always pay attention to the road and what other cars are doing (like braking and switching lanes.) Don't look down at your texts or the radio. Keep your GPS on your Bluetooth so you don't have to look at your phone. Your car can go across a football field in around 2 seconds and that's the same amount of time it takes to glance down at something. Also since you're a new driver, you're probably gonna piss some people off. If you get honked at, or even if you get pissed off at the way someone is driving, avoid the urge to act or drive aggressively. Not only are you putting your life and their life in danger, but also everyone around you. People travel with children and animals. Also give courtesy to other vehicles whenever possible, don't drive when you're emotional and always account for extra time to get places. And NEVER drive under the influence. Weed is almost the same as alcohol in terms of impairment. Your reaction time slows down and YOU slow down LOL. Studies show people who are high drive slower which will get a police officers attention. As an everyday weed smoker for 10+ years, I can't drive for around 3 hours after 1 joint. And the NHA actually says if you wait at LEAST 3.5 hours, (different for everyone some may need more time) you'll be able to drive just as well as before you smoked. Edibles take a lot longer to wear off. Drinking is a different story. They say 1 hour per beer but just like with weed, it's different for everyone and they mean 1 typical sized beer 4-5% ABV. You don't know what you're getting at a bar if it's a mixed drink. Your best bet is to get a ride or uber home. It's a lot less expensive than a DUI and lawyers and you'll get to keep your license. Think about it. Besides all the lives you're risking, you could get your license that you worked so hard to get, taken away for 5 years and you'll have to re-take your test. Stay safe and use good judgement

GUYS I DID IT! I passed the exam! I wasn't confident, I didn't have enough experience. But our Lord God hears prayers. He loves us and wants to help us in a difficult situation. never rely on yourself 100 percent, even if you are completely confident. but ask Jesus Christ for help. he will give you the strength, and wisdom, and attentiveness and memory to memorize all the information you need before the exam. It doesn't matter if you're not a Christian. God loves everyone strongly and equally. thanks to the author of the video, a few things that I learned from this video were key to my pass.

Guys by the grace of GOD, I passed my road test today! I failed my first two times. God is soooo God y'all. I prayed a lot for this, I did my part by taking as much classes as I needed, I read over the driver's permit book, and then I left the rest to God, and put my upmost faith and praise in him. I had really bad anxiety, and fear that kept me from doing well the first two times. I prayed over that in the name of Jesus. THANK YOU LORD !!!

@@emilymesser2183 trust me, it’s not as bad as you think, our minds just tend to overthink. I recommend starting to meditate daily and before you drive, That always helps me calm my mind and body. You can and will overcome this !! practice in an empty parking lots and on days where the roads are less busier ( mornings on weekends) and binge watch all the videos like this. The worst that can happen is you having to take it again if you don’t pass, the driver won’t yell at you or look at you and judge you harshly. They actually will tell you what you messed up on and how to fix it. They are rooting for you and so am I ❤️ we can’t let fear and anxiety stop us , we have to fight it.

After 2 fails I finally got my license! It's pretty easy for the evaluator to fail you for simple mistakes so keep your head up if it happens. Failure doesn't necessarily mean you're a bad driver. Keep practicing and go at it again. You're bound to get someone who believes in you. But for me I took a step further by contacting a private license and professional dmv agent that helped me to write a provisional letter to bypass the test drive and i was given a provisional driver's license which will last for 12 months. I got a license now and it will serve for 1 year then I renew again. My little advice. * If you think are too nervous for the test drive then you can easily switch to a provisional driver's license which you won't need to test drive

I'm gonna be 27 and still don't have my license because my family always keeps me inside the house. Luckily I applied for jobs to find my way out of this cage. They only taught me to drive i neighbourhood's and shame me for not getting a license like my younger cousin who's mom is less strict. Taking my test in an hour, but instead of us doing the typical road test, because of COVID, all we have to do is forward-park, reverse-park, a U-turn and a 3-point-turn. Which I think is harder lol. Hopefully I don’t hit a cone...

@@nicolek9557 I did! And yeah she had me pull up, put it in park, show blinkers, brake lights, hazards, reverse lights, and horn if I recall correctly. It was almost too easy because the testing site I was at had a extended parking spot with sooo much more room than the typical spots I’d regularly see. It was about the size of one and a half of another from where I was practicing my parking (AMC’s parking lot), so hopefully yours is like that as well. A few tips I could give you is to just practice for a bit every day until then, drive around (get comfortable), Forward and Reverse park, and find a cul de sac in a neighborhood or a dead end street to practice your 3-point-turn. Find a parking spot more on the smaller side just in case the spot at the testing site is bigger than average like mine was, it’ll make it then feel like a breeze. Also, if you know where you’ll be testing, go there and measure/look at the spot so you know what you’re up against. Best of luck to you and anyone else reading this thats taking it!
