Enjoy being in year 10 and don’t stress yourself out this early. Year 10 is still pretty full on at times, but in comparison to year 11, you definitely don’t really need to revise much at all. Enjoy the last year of school where you don’t have to constantly revise and just try your best in preparation for next year, next year will be much more intense

Hannah M mocks don’t mean anything don’t worry! even the mocks i just finished in year 11 don’t mean anything! the only exams that matter are the real things. mocks are to give you an idea on what you need to work on - good luck and don’t stress! x

I would say practising questions is the most important thing bc I feel like maths can stick in your brain quite well with practice compared to other subjects where you have to just remember information. So actually understanding what you’re doing and the method is really important.

i only have 3 options so i put down drama, history and spanish, BUT IM SO UPSET I DIDNT DO MEDIA, because it’s pretty much what i do all the time! i was thinking, is media difficult because i was thinking on doing it for a- level in my sixth form? like would it be hard to catch up etc?

sasha key many people i know are taking media as an A level and haven’t done it as a GCSE and they were told they’ll be fine :) especially if you do stuff like it all the time, i think you’ll be okay

When is the best time to start revising for mock? I’m in year 10 and have some mocks after Easter

Don’t stress yourself out too much, your year 10 mocks are not that big of a deal, so if you don’t do so well it doesn’t really matter because you still have a whole year to improve. However they are still slightly important as they show what kind of grade you’re working at currently. Do little bits of revision as often as you can for every subject from now till the exams, this will help you feel more prepared and confident for them, but don’t stress yourself out too much!!

Equestrian chit Chat my biggest tip is: everything you learnt in year 10, make revision notes or posters or whatever over the summer into year 11. that means you don’t have to worry about it then! my science is really stressing me out right now because i didn’t do that x

You have PLENTY of time!! Year 9 is a good year have lots and laughs and lots of fun while you still can, try to enjoy school. Just make sure you’re trying your hardest in all of your subjects and you’ll fly through year 9 easily
