Is the visa interview compulsory for everyone!! Like maybe they are selective about it or is it compulsory for everyone

Previously, it was. However, due to covid, it was stopped but as covid is no longer an issue, UKVI is now randomly selecting applicants for online interviews. It is better to be prepared for it as you don't know if you would be selected.
