The wind in the video was almost unbearable. But thanks for the tips. You wouldn’t think that putting a patch on was that hard till you have to re-do one for the third time. lol

Can you use isopropyl alcohol instead of lacquer thinner?

Sure.

What type or brand of patches do you use for tractor tires? The only ones I can find is the slime brand for lawn mowers lol.
@generalprinciple59213 жыл бұрын
powerram92 I don’t know the brand, I get them from my local private owned parts store but you can find them on eBay or Amazon too

Hornet radial tire patches is what i use, get em on amazon for like 10$ for 50 patches. my local autoparts store wanted 75 cents a piece so i just bought my own patches and cement.

@@generalprinciple5921 that's how I am I'll go out and buy a tool that cost way more then the repair but then I know next time it will pay for itself

Have you buffed your tyre down? You keep getting punctures in that same bit of the tyre? Buff the tyre and put a patch on the tyre where it’s puncturing the tube then you won’t need to keep fixing it.
@generalprinciple59213 жыл бұрын
Scott Brown yes I have buffed it, ground it and booted it but these tires are getting a lot of cracks in them

That wind noise was almost unbearable. I never heard of using lacquer thinner for cleaning tubes, I thought the sanding disc that comes with the patch kit was good enough, thanks for sharing. Also do you think all tire repair kits are equal, any better then others, auto part store vs Walmart?
@generalprinciple59214 жыл бұрын
Job38 Four we have since changed our camera for recording. Sorry about the noise. Glad you could still get something out of the video
