I just deleted the ".txt" part of the file so that ".nds" was left and that seemed to work

What about steamdeck/linux users? i'm on Steam deck and having the issue when opening NUPS of it asking me to either execute or cancel, and upon selecting execute it asks me to "Select the program you want to use to open the file Nintenlord UPS patcher.exe"

That's a fan game. It has nothing to do with ROM hacks or this video. If you're on a computer, it's simply downloading your files and opening the .exe file.

I’m confused on the whole IPS process. I have a specific rom hack/patch in mind that has a .ips extension on it but for some reason I can’t get it to download properly. It’s for the GBA and Zero Mission. Can you please help me out with this?

Does your browser cancel the download? It's possible that a smartphone blocks "suspicious" downloads

Whenever i do the final step which is putting the patched file into the mGBA emulator through files, it just stays on a screen that is letting me know it's a non profit fan-game. Do you have any idea on how i could fix this problem? I am trying to play Pokémon Unbound i checked and made sure everything is right am i missing a step with the emulator itself?

Whenever I try and load the emulator it sends me to my browser with the file in the search bar, and I can’t do anything else, it also asks “How do you want to open this file?” Then gives me options on web browsers and that it, do you know how to fix this or even know what to do?

If it’s not compatible, then you need a specific version that could be regionally different. Use a different version of the same game and try again.

You shouldn't have a .txt file before patching, so it's only necessary if the patcher gives you a file with that extension.
