Love your video! I have a quick question though. If I have a few thousand dollars in debt from my undergrad, is it that bad when I add it to my PA school laons if I get in this cycle?

You would need to double check with your lender, but usually they go into deferment so you aren't required to continue making payments while in grad school.

I was looking at these small grants and most of them require that you have a 3.0 and above. I don't have a high GPA so those grants don't really apply to me. But, how many grants can someone apply when these are only offering $1000? what dent is that going to do with a $80-170K fee?

Your school's cost estimate will ensure you are able to apply for enough loans to cover, and then you can always get private loans too

I don't understand how you accrued $34K in interest over 27 months. This almost makes me want to not go to PA school at all since my program is $110K just for tuition.

The interest is rough. My rate was around 6.5% and it's cumulative, so you end up getting interest on your interest unfortunately. Then, while paying them back, you're still getting interest and paying it back. While not encouraging, a lot of people end up with a lot more to owe back and it's doable to pay it back with a good plan.

Hey Sami, you don’t have to wait till you’re accepted. When I applied to Fafsa I listed all the schools that I was interviewing for or hopeful to get into. When you’re accepted to a program fafsa will move forward with that program.

It depends on the lender! Mine had the option of up to 30 years, but I chose to pay them off much sooner.
