Little late response but it will kinda start bouncing and coming in a little closer to the bank after you cast and eventually it will hit the bottom and pop up. Just wait til it goes under and set the hook and u will have it

If anyone wants to know how to increase your chances of catching fish that eat from their side or tail, follow the advice in this video it’s pretty good lol I prefer the vertical snag method vs bottom fall back method though

Shawn Flowers drag bottom near the aerators but be careful not to get hung up on them. The fish hang tight to them and the little wall ledges.

A paylake I went to with my friends the catfish would just nibble so like the bobber just goes up and down and eventually the bait will come off my friend who hasn’t fished since he was 3 had that happen same with my other friend I only got 2 bluegill and I grabbed a catfish with my hands any tips if they nibble

I'll watch I have been trying to figure this stuff out for a long time. I fish cp2 alot. I catch fish but just the cast and wait method lol I cant figure out trolling and have never had any luck with it. No ones ever explained it to me. I understand this video to a point and tried it out a little with no success over the past couple weeks.

wait a minute. Maybe im missing something. Are u knowing the depth and using a bobber stopper because u didnt mention a bobber stopper at all. How is the float working without a bobber stopper? The float wouldnt suspend the weight of the sinker. The sinker would hit bottom and the float would just fall over
