He shows all three people the numbers. They each wrote down. Would they then. Not know that they did not add up to what he calculated?

There actually is now a much better trick. The trick contains a rigged notebook that sends everything the people write to a computer. They can now actually know what the people wrote

Wouldn't it be weird if first person would write a large number such as 900+...and second one would put also large number 900+ , so the 3rd person would know the number should be bigger then 1800+...even before she gets to write her number and sum it....the sum can get even bigger then 2000+...there is a huge risk writing a low number like 1417 inside the envelope
@maimonguy1235 жыл бұрын

The key is having higher nos range selected eg: between 500-5000 etc, man management of the notebook is crucial, also this is generally used as 1 part of a multi phase routine etc etc
@beeble20032 жыл бұрын
1417 isn't a low number. The total has to be somewhere between zero and 3000 and 1417 is very close to the middle of that range.
@Dreammaker132 жыл бұрын
@@beeble2003 first 2 people high numbers above 800 and this trick will not work, 3rd person if she/he knows basic math they will understand it right away that it is a scam

The trick relies of selecting a third person who’s not smart enough to add up the three numbers in there head and willing to say its wrong.
@MathNerd17297 ай бұрын
I know right? It wasn't that difficult to catch the act either because the units were 3 + 0 + 0 so it should end in 3 yet the magician predicted 1417 😭
@roachtoasties Жыл бұрын
Of course, if the magician asked each participant what number they wrote down, that would be a hell of a trick. The participants had a chance to look at the pad of paper with all three numbers. If any of them remembered and added them up in their head, they would know there was some hanky-panky going on. That would have been easy, if all three contestants picked low numbers (like 2, 5, 10) and noticed that on the pad of paper. If the magician was outed, it wouldn't have made it to the TV show.

What if first person predicts 1 and second person predicts 5, so when the second person is writing the number below first number, he already knows the first 2 numbers. Total of both these numbers is 6, after this, it's impossible to get 1417. Second guy n third guy can call the bluff...

Same. It looks like an easy way to entertain and involve a large part of the audience for about 5 minutes.
@bmac634 жыл бұрын
the key to this routine playing well is to change the range of the nos selected-I use 1000-3000 etc... ,its only 1 part of a multi phase routine ,. also man management of the notebook is crucial, as soon as the nos is written by 2nd & 3rd spectator, you take it back, it works well if used as mentioned & is very entertaining..

That's bollocks! The last person to write their number down could add up and get 1,113. You'd have to get them to write their numbers on separate pages then it'd work.

@yaswanthsaireddy13903 жыл бұрын
It would be better if you ask each person to write the their number in a single page so that others don't see number. Then ask fourth person to come and add them and write the sum in 4th page to avoid doubt. Trick would be we write our own numbers from back side via 3 pages and we flip it and give it to her to add. That's it no confusion 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

It's really simple, once you know the secret **making the masked magician gesture proudly**
@jaggajasoos50677 ай бұрын
A simpler way to perform it would be like this with no suspicion being raised: Call any 2 random people at first. And ask them if we have ever met before? Third person should be your own man. Don't ask him the same que. Ppl will just go in the flow. Decide upon 2 numbers- 1001 and 1999. Note that no matter what the first two people write- these 2 numbers are always attainable. U can increase or decrease the numbers a bit coz it would be very unlikely for two people to write 1 or to write 999 together and it would make it even more believable that one read their minds
