Hi! My arcgis pro account is under-licensed, so I can't use the kernel density tool. Is it possible to do hotspot analysis with another tool? I can use hotspot analysis tool or optimized hotspot analysis tool, etc. Your videos seem to help me a lot in my research analysis! Thanks:)

Yes you can! You can use Quantum GIS ( QGIS to perform it

​@@larliseduhub Oh But I've tried many things (ARCGIS, QGIS AND GEODA) and the kernel density tool in QGIS doesn't seem to be what I want. Is this the right way to get the hotspots? What would be the difference between this and using Getis-Ord Gi*? Thanks for your answer:):)
