I have been studying everything I can possibly learn about Islam for the past 4 months because I truly believe Allah has given me a great opportunity. Before this I was strongly against religion, but then I was faced with the Qur'an and I couldn't call it a lie. Alhamdulillah. I'm struggling very much with learning how to pray correctly, Inshallah Allah will forgive me and guide me on the best path. I'm nervous to go to a Mosque because I fear that I will embarrass myself or accidentally do something I shouldn't. Additionally, I feel inclined to wear the traditional Kufi and Throbe but I am not sure if it is seen as disrespectful towards other Brothers and Sisters that know how to pray properly. What I mean is I'm scared I'll be approached by an educated Muslim and asked to recite Fajr, Duhur,Asr, Maghrib, Isha, or Tahajjud and not be able to, then in turn be called a fake or something. I don't want to disrespect anyone, and would like some advice please.

Don't worry and stress about it too much (if you are still afraid to go to Mosque). We treat each other equallity and you won't disrespect anyone. It's fine to make mistakes, you learn from it. If they will see you and learn that you have converted to Islam, they would rather be so happy and try to help you anyway than getting disrespected. And also it takes time to learn it, so don't rush it and practice slowly and you will master it in no time. Good luck and may Allah lead us to the right way.

Just a note- 1st four rakats are sunnah (8:24)2nd four are -Fard prayers. For newly converts or learners note that in the 3rd and 4th rakats you only recite fatiha(Alhumdulilahi rabbil alameen...) and go for your rukooh. Just a tip.😊

Yes If you are new to Islam. You can recite Surah Ikhlas in every rakat after Surah Al Fatiha but it's always beneficial if you memorise few more short Surahs for prayers. You can gradually add to your prayers once you memories and perfect all the steps.

Google “tahiyaat in prayer” then “salawat in prayer” When you finish each 2 rakaat you recite “tahiyaat” then when you finish the whole one prayer you recite tahiyaat then salawat. The dua that he says after the salawat is just a random dua that you can choose. Google dua & memorise one of them to say it during prayer & you can also just pray to God with your own personal dua. Other than those everything he recited was quraan that you can memorise & recite

I suggested you watch and listen to this namaz and you will understand what you need to know. It’s just like a little confusion at first but eventually you will understand and it not hard. Only in how the imam pronounced each word there only a little problem that is why you have to search and learn those ayah so you can pronounce it correctly as how he pronounce it. This video is really helpful all you have to do is focus and put it in your heart.
