How to perform Upper Quadrant Y Balance Test (UQYBT) using the MAT

The Upper Quarter Y Balance Test (UQYBT) was developed as a clinical test for upper extremity function and can be used to rehabilitation shoulder conditions such as rotator cuff injuries.
The patient is placed in a closed chain position and performs 3 reaches in the medial, superolateral and inferolateral directions as far as possible. Comparisons is made from side to side or this test can be used to track progression of shoulder strength and mobility.
