How To Photograph A Total Solar Eclipse

I used a 360 camera and a GoPro the entire time in 2017 and did not experience any damage so hard to say but be careful. I am going to take the risk with a wide in April with no filter.

Could you use solar lens filter sheet for visual viewing? I wear eyeglasses and don’t like those flimsy cardboard eclipse glasses, and would rather adapt my regular spare eyeglasses, by covering them with a Thousand Oaks solar camera filter.

if you want to take a picture with your camera phone you can use the reflection off your windshield. the phone just needs something close or it will never focus
