Excellent video Kevin. Thanks for the tips and tricks. I love photographing dragonflies and damselflies. So colourful and very interesting. 👍

Beautiful images and some great tips Kevin. I found an area close to my home where multiple damselflies were resting on grass but had no camera! I’ll have to go back tomorrow and hope they’re still there. Thanks for your videos, as I only found your channel a few days ago. I especially liked your “levels of awareness’ information as I haven’t seen it mentioned before.

I use very similar equipment and approach to you. Good overview of the subject.

Thanks Kevin. Very helpful video, especially the idea of using manual with auto ISO. Do you use image stabilisation if you’re using a monopod?

All the time normally set on 1 on the lens.

Huge tele you got there. I photograph dragonflies, garden spiders, bee-flies, etc. less than an inch distance from the lens surface. That works the best for me.
