Thank you for all your great macro videos. They have given me plenty of ideas and kept me from being bored in lockdown here in England. This snowflake video just came two days too late to help me as the snow has gone. But next time I will know to use a different strength flash for each side of the ring flash. I was wondering why my snowflakes were not showing up well.

Tolles Video! 👍 Ich verwende für Schneeflocken ein 35mm Objektiv mit Retroadapter plus 3 Zwischenringe, dann sind die Flocken schön groß auf dem Sensor zu sehen. Ich benutze auch einen Diffusor für den Blitz, fotografiere aber aus der Hand. Und recht hast Du: es macht süchtig. 🙂

Tolles Video von dir. Echt klasse gemacht. Ich habe auch die alpha 6000 und das 90mm macro von Sony. Welches makro Objektiv könntest du für die Sony empfehlen, um ein ABM von 2:1 oder besser 3:1 zu erreichen? Hab mit dem laowa 25 geliebäugelt, aber bin von der Schärfe nicht überzeugt🤷🏻‍♂️

Vielen Dank! Bevor ich jetzt ein neues Objektiv kaufen würde vielleicht lieber erstmal zusammen mit dem raynox250 (ca. 60 euro?), damit kommst du auf knapp 2:1 (+crop-Faktor) ohne an Auflösung zu verlieren. Jenseits der 1:1 habe ich bis jetzt nur mit dem 2:1 60mm von laowa gearbeitet, was gut ist, allerdings ist das Fokussieren sehr viel mühsamer als mit dem 90mm von Sony (außer man nutzt es auf Statis+Makroschlitten...)

You can try a tiny brush. It worked a couple of times for me... sometime I broke the snowflake...;)
