You're awesome. I spend a lot of time doing solo-dev and your videos are always great reminders and motivators. Always appreciate the content.

Your videos are truly motivating, especially for a beginner like me, where things can sometimes get frustrating. But as you always say: Always learning, always improving. Thanks for the inspiration!

this is so important especially for myself who gets in way over his head wanting to do some of the most complex characters i can, then burning myself out. That time will come from farming xp on other projects. it's like going to a pvp zone under levelled and wondering why you a losing all the time. You're not ready. Take your time, ENJOY the process and each project should be a challenge but not so much of one that it burns you out.

The main reason not to pick on AI stuff is because in a lot of fundamental ways, like for example, anatomy, how things were constructed, or how things were designed, might not make sense. And it will be much harder to translate in 3d. Also, support real people who have done a concept. Of course you might need to ask permission first if you can use their design to make in 3d, and provide credit. That said, most concept artists will be more than happy to see their idea being translated in 3d.

wait, what if i try to re concept a 3d stylized sword from some ai references that i generated, is it still count as ai thing or no?
@AbeLeal3D2 ай бұрын
wether it counts or not is not really the question i think, you could of course do a great 3d model from Ai Reference i just personally think there is more value in doing it from an artist reference, you learn more that way, you can generate a new connection, and you continue to support work done by fellow artists

How to properly tell to a 3D artist that you are going to use his works in your own portfolio, without mentioning him at all? Seems like a very delicate question
@AbeLeal3D2 ай бұрын
a good old message or email is a very simple way to do it. You might not always get an answer but it is good etiquette i think
@MK_2023.2 ай бұрын
Whether you get permission or not to use another artists work, you must ALWAYS mention him/her and tag their so social media.
@IvanNaumov-p1y2 ай бұрын
@@MK_2023. Ha Ha, but then everyone will know that these are not your works! And you will have to seek jobs like diversity consulant at Ubisoft.
@MK_2023.2 ай бұрын
@@IvanNaumov-p1y dude, if you don't mention where you got the artwork from, then you're tricking people into thinking you came up with the whole concept. That's stealing another person's art.

Need to ask permission and then always credit the 2D concept
