Yeah, the Modern Renaissance is similar to Naked Heat. I would say that the only real difference is Naked Head is more orange over all.

I expected more of a "what to pick according to your skin tone / eyes / hair color", since I believe that people who *know* they use/don't use warmer/cooler shades can just go look at the palettes themselves on the website or in a shop and decide based off of that...

Reni Mellon for blue eyes orange/warm tones are your friend to really make them pop! But really, you can use cool tones if that’s what you like, there’s no rule in make up unlike 2000’s medias were saying :)

But at the same time it also makes sense to pick the same type of tones your hair and skin already has, so both seems kinda self-explanatory. To me personally this video was helpful because all the palettes looked the same to me like they were just repetetive greys and browns but now I kinda understand the differences.

My favourite is the naked 2. I use every shade. I get so much use out of it. I would definitely repurchase it in a heartbeat if I had to. And I do plan to once I’m done the palette. The palette made me realize that I am a cool tone lover. I do have the naked heat. But I realize I’m not a huge fan of warm tones. But I still love it and think it’s gorgeous. My next goal is to get the naked 3.

I’m a medium neutral skin tone with black brown hair and brown eyes who owns Naked, Naked Smoky, and Naked Heat. Honestly, I think all these palettes would work on any eye color. Here is my experience with them. 1) Naked is my favorite because I can get an everyday look or simple smoky eye look. If you are someone who likes natural makeup looks that pop then it was the one to get. 2) I personally love the natural shimmer and matte shades as they’re good for a more dramatic natural look. Like if you’re going to the beach with friends or a group date then it’s perfect to use the shades. I personally love gray and blue shadows so this was a perfect dip into that color scheme. It can be very tricky to work with as there is a possibility of fall out. Recommend glitter glue primer for best results. 3) Naked Heat is wonderful for me to wear when I want some pops of color that also make me look tan. There are a ton of matte shades so it’s also nice when I want to do an all matte look.

My favorite is Naked 3! I love pink tones, but I can do wicked smokeys with it. I'm not sure about naked heat as the peach palette and Alice in Wonderland palette fill that void of amazing warm tones. I still might break down as I love warm tones. I'm more of a shimmer girl and don't follow "trends". I only use mattes to blend or do my crease.

Those type of videos are so helpful because I never know what to buy. I got the born to run palette because it was the first one that had no "useless colours" to me and I think I really like it. I wouldn't know what to do with all those light and brown colours in the naked palettes and they all looked the same to me until now ^^ then again, my lack of understanding for blending/transition shades is probably also why my makeup is never that beautiful ^^'

Thank you for making this video based on all the Naked palettes and covering the Cool/Warm toned factors. I am cool/neutral skinned find it hard to make a decision what Naked palette to get. I found either palettes too warm toned or too cool with colors that I would not use (golds, yellows, ochre etc). I find the Naked Basics too cool/warm toned. The only palette I felt was balanced (not too warm/cool) was the Naked Smoky which is discontinued :/

My complaint with all of the naked palettes is there are so many dark colors in them that I never use. I also think quite a few of the colors have a decent amount of fall out. My favorite palettes of all time were my Stila palettes that I put together with ones I knew I would use. Best eye shadows ever. Stayed on until I took them off and rarely any fallout. Call me old fashioned but I loved them. Sad they stopped making the pans for the pallets.

I only have the OG Naked and Naked Heat (and Heat Petite)! My ranking based on the looks are: 1. Heat 2. OG 3. Smoky 4. Naked 2 5. Naked 3 That’s based on looks though, because I heard that Smoky had bad pigment. Heat’s pigment is by far the best I’ve found!

I got the full Naked 3 palette because I thought the shades were really pretty, but when I tried it out it was super powdery and almost invisible when (tried and failed) applied. I couldn't even build it, it was just total fallout. I've de-cluttered it already. I find the mini naked basics 2 palette to be better quality.

Naked 3 is my go to. I have light warm tone hair so the pinks look good on me. I just got the naked heat and I'm literally trying it in a few hours. The original naked was the first one that I got, but I never really liked it. It's just not good colors for me.

Orange is on the opposite side of the color wheel to blue, so if you have blue eyes warm tones and the naked heat palette is probably for you. For brown eyes, I suspect that cooler tones and blue/purple shades would be best to really bring out your eyes.

Pat Mau : I'm Filipino too! I recommend starting out with a neutral palette with a lot of variety to get a feel for eyeshadows, then branching out once you figure out what colors you use the most. Another reason why a neutral palette would be great for you is because its great for work! Do some experimenting to see if you like shimmers or mattes better; if you prefer mattes, I recommend not going for any of the Nakeds unless its the Naked Heat, as they have a LOT of shimmers. :D I just wanted to add my two cents. Hope this helped! ^^

Rachel Hunter on darker skin tones like myself pretty much every naked palette and cool tone shadows in general looks super ashy on me and they all look like the same colour unless you use a pure white eyeshadow primer. Pale skin tones can rock both warm and cool eye shadow colours since the grey base usually want wash you out
