It wasn't a huge problem when you could migrate back to kvk 2 easily. That was my plan. Migrate back each time and save gold heads until I could make some meta marches and be atleast a tiny bit competitive in SOC.... Now I can't migrate back I'm just getting awful trades and wasting my time in soc

i am f2p/low spend.. if you get vip level to 14 as early as possible, it's possible to keep up. I am all Infantry and I have done good in kvk against some of the best kingdoms in the game.

I'm a f2p. It's all about combination and talent tree. I used the same pair. 1 golden and 1 epic. I thought the golden commander was strong but I was losing fights. I switched to epic main and golden as secondary. I was winning.

For me my route took me to several kvk 2 before actually staying and progress thru commanders. There was a friendship/ agreement/ not leaving someone behind. I am with you. Nevsky, Boudica, Scipio is and forward investment strategy is amazing. I can combine them with other commanders. I have to tell you that focusing on Saladin was my mistake. I even broke a mge rule to get it and max it. It was my failure

I've been saving a lot recently. I'm trying to finish my XY (to pair with expertised Nevsky), but then will be only saving. VIP 15 really helps on saving those heads, too. I'm going to be going on a similar route as your restart: migrating back to kvk 2 and saving from there!

Hi noob question hope you can answer, after kvk3 can you access the new Prime commanders immediately? cause some guides says kingdom needs to be almost 1k days old to access those from wheel of fortune. Does this mean i should migrate to older kingdom as soon as i enter soc?

20:40 I would say to use gold key commander because they saved the sculpture for soc I mean cao cao is better to have him 55/11 than trying to go for open field stats so I think bellisarius would be fine meanwhile you get another good legendary from wheel El cid or thutmose,with boudica I think,definitely thutmose(more stats,bonus dmg,decent museum buff) Well even mehmed 2 would be lit but you get less sculptures overall Scipio…mehmed,or sun tzu probably it’s better than Charles Martel

I didn't plan to do Boudica as I have literally only 2 legendary archer commanders which are Nebu/YSG. Does it really make sense to spend 700 gold heads to replace Nebu? 🤔 And does the strategy to not invest backwards apply to Guan as well? Cause he's the one I think about maxing next.

I hope at some point there are enough meta commanders that we can have some variations in who players use.. if boudi nevsky and scipio are the best everyone will have them. It'd be nice if every fight didn't have guan alex with saladin william and xy nevsky

if there are many meta commanders they wont be meta anymore haha, but agree that variations will be good. Maybe they should really play into more of the troop type counter that the game was originally meant to be. Maybe commander skills give bonus stats depending on how many of your other marches are of same troop type, but then also more penalized by their counters. Then players really are encouraged to specialize and plan fighting styles according to situation rather than the same 5 'meta' marches

I’m in my first KvK 4 and just invested more of my sculptures in Alex (5541 now) and plan to finish until he is expertised. I have unlocked/summoned all 3 “Mythic” commanders, but I may be doing the wrong thing by waiting a little longer to invest in them. The only reason I chose to continue investing in Alex is because I plan on migrating back to KvK 2 in the coming months. While in KvK 2&3, I will save sculptures to invest in those 3 commanders when that kingdom enters SoC.. Yay or nay?

I did Alex to 5553, But when Nevsky and those other mythics came I had to deviate from my plan a little bit. Now got Nevsky at 5512(maxing him eventually), same with Boudica, Scipio (starting to work after Nevsky). Meanwhile have Xy/Saladin, Guan/Leo ,Alex the great/YSG. Switching last one for Scipio soon as I have enough sculps for 5511 him.

It is a bad plan for one reason - the new migration rules. You will not be able to go back to kvk2, for your own sake don’t waste heads based the fact you think you’re going back

@@tnb7181 OH yeah, 100% agreed. Don't migrate just for that cause or plan to jump from SoC to kvk2 many times. U don't get to do it many times with these continued migration rules adjustments. They really want to limit backwards pedaling, and keeping new player environment as theirs as it can be. In this moment in time I'm not sure it even makes sense for most players. Someone who has an old account quit playing and started again(and wants to use that same acc) going back makes sense so he/she can get a running start for all the gear, commander's and everything that player has missed whilst been inactive.

The games has reached a state where using your gold heads feels very bad because the next wave of commanders will be so much stronger again. I saved about 1800 sculptures and I don’t want to use them because I don’t want to make a mistake. This makes the game no fun anymore

I agree bro . 1800 gh is a lot though. My advice would be to choose one troop type and go all out only on that troop type . I’m infantry , so i skip out on the nevsky and boudica . And i’m able to expertise all the meta infsntry

I still think ysg and Alex are worth the investment for a beginner account. Having them will allow you to get more sculptures over time, in kvk1-3 so they pay for themselves.

I started the game a year ago in 1001. May 7th 2021. Quit and returned at January 21st 2022. I dont remember much from the past. Its either new commanders or i just had bad luck at getting those commanders. My first legendary at that time i think was julius caesar or æthelflæd. I didnt have seondeok, ishida, boudica or any other commander, I thought they were new. I didnt really focus on the talents of those commanders... i had someone help me understand the game and which commanders to invest on, though he didn't tell me enough back then 😅 so I invested on ishida once i got him thinking he was useful somehow. He wasn't. So now im just a slow grower also not being an f2p. I spend alot of money somehow im still at 8M power but 10M kp's. So its either im being dumb or im more of a fighter than farmer or grower, but i do have a 5211 saladin and a 1221 ysg, two expertised epic comms (beli, scipio). 240k t4 cavs (I main cavs) with decent equipment. Still trying to forge my first legendary, its archer so i'll try using it on YSG for that. Thank you for listening to my essay 🤣

Started playing for under a month. Server is 45 days old. So from my understanding, I basically have to keep holding until KVK4 before I even invest in any legendary commanders. But won't that make me a liability to my alliance/kingdom? I know Sun Tzu is great (and I don't have enough heads) but I don't have other epic commanders of note worth to actually use in KVK. Barring Baibars that I started with, Boudica and Lohar which are basically NPC farming tools. And Jean, the 2 Egypt commanders and Flanders (who is a gather). Would a low level Jean of Arc work with Sun Tzu? Or maybe using Boudica / Lohar as secondary for their healing?

5511 is easily obtained and field ready if you fight smart.

There are low investment guides out there that are very good. The new mythic tiers are usable at 5511 and depending on what troop type you focused on, pick one of the three and work on them.
