Many management do accounting fraud and divert profits. SO MANAGEMENT QUALITY IS FIRST. However there is no parameter one can measure it. Usually it is by experience and track records only

In manufacturing bulk of profits are made from spares business rather than original equipment. Companies that focus on spares as a significant part of their revenue tend to do well.
