you can only hear 20hz-20khz so any farther than that is pointless. you really want to look at a frequeny response graph to look at how flat it is. also the frequency range numbers are meaningless if they don't give a dB range, you should look at the +- 2dB graph. Those are just numbers. It's how accurately can they reproduce the signal at output that matters.

uuhhhhhh my sentry elements earbuds are actually great on bass, they're also pretty clear on the sound as it complements the bass and the beat within it, especially with the mids, highs, lows for the money, even on the specification's on the box it says 20hz-20hz and it still sounds great on the bass and it's probably one of the greatest bass response ear buds I've had so far. good, I tell everyone this. Especially if u have an android smartphone and wanna use the app music player "PowerAmp". Increase the bass knob and using this strategy will blow any other earbuds u might have bought out of the water. Like ur own portable subwoofer surround sound in ur pocket. I ended up getting skullcandy smokin buds at a hz of between 16,000 - 24,000 (PERFECT range for lows and highs) and it annihilates any earbuds I have EVER bought. Including Dr Dre's beats (I've owned those 2, headset and the earbuds and nothing compares to the skullcandies I have lol)

Skyler Gibbs well only thing i hate about spotify is having a separate music player to store ur MP3s gives you direct access to alter those files qualities and effects... all spotify is is a streaming service like netflix but with Music so all you get is what they have on the servers. Without direct access to the original MP3, it's almost impossible to change how the music sounds unless spotify has an equalizer itself which again, wont do a lot since the android doesnt have direct access to the file other than streaming it. Itll more or less stay in a "flat" equalizer setting without any bass increases or anything. Might sound different with different earbuds but not a LOT of difference without audio processing effects

meant stay away from lp2 an m100 in vmoda line there lesser bass an more for audiophiles an djs like there doin most headphones maken theam lesser bass an more for sound todays or so

don't listen to this guy, he's obviously never compared them, the m-100s have better bass and sound, the others have bass but it's like beats where all you hear is a loose boom, every bass note on the m-100s is precise and big while still being able to understand the music itself a lot better

+Bawb17 I'm sure it's of a matter of preference to each individual tho. He might like what he's talking about over the M-100's, so its just his opinion. Just like everyone's opinion, doesn't make it fact cuz you'll always have someone who prefers something over the other. For example, I hate Xbox. I think they suck compare to Playstations. However, there will be people that like Xbox n say Playstations suck, so it's a never ending debate. Why? Some people like Xbox over Playstation. I or some people might think they're dumb for choosing a low end spec piece of hardware (Xbox One) compared to a monster (PS4), but it's still their opinion and preference. lol

+TetrisPlay3r read description. N yes it does matter. I've bought hundreds of earbuds to test this out and I was correct. It also depends on what player ur using ur earbuds in. If u use a low hz (1st part of range) pair of earbuds in poweramp music player on android for example and turn up the bass? You'll see a MASSIVE difference between that and shitty 20-20khz. You get what you pay for. You would know this if u ever hooked up home entertainment systems with speaker wire... low frequencies are BASS... middle frequences are MIDS and High frequences are TREBLE. The lower the number on the 1st end, the deeper and more powerful the bass will be... N yes, u CAN tell...IF u use the right music player... playing it thru a normal ipod without an equalizer? Then yes, ur theory would be correct. However playing it thru POWERAMP thru android with these 16-24khz earbuds and bass cranked up? Sounds EXACTLY like car subwoofers... It's pretty badass

Smitty, Jedi Mind Tricks, Big K.R.I.T., Bone Thugs N harmony, Hollywood Undead, Korn, Ke$ha (believe it with her synthesizers lol), Katy Perry, Kid Cudi, Krizz Kaliko, Lamb of God, Lil Wyte, Mushroomhead, Schoolboy Q, Slipknot, SPM (south Park Mexican), Tool, Tyga, Within Temptation, Wiz Khalifa, Young Jeezy (Put On song has astonishing bass n is mindblowing if bass is cranked up), ^-^

I have the M-100s and they blow the others away, the bass and overall sound is a lot clearer
