Great concise rules, but how do you break them for certain situations-like a really low sofa (171/2 floor to top of sofa cushion)?

@@sherrierichard2848 A glass table top might be the best answer for you. Glass gives the appearance of being unintrusive. This can make the coffee table blend into your living space and not create too much visual noise. Another option would be to get creative. A pallet topped with a piece of glass would be a fun and unique option.

Thank you for watching! There are a few glass coffee tables in this video; the Oculus (the one behind Brian), the Terrace (two levels, top glass with wood) and the Maze (the base looks like a star). There are also a couple other coffee tables that are discontinued since this video was made. All the coffee tables i mentioned can be purchased at Circle Furniture.
